Eric will be playing the role of Washed in the Blood’s villain, Robert Logan. Choroid Entertainment is also in talks with another prominent Canadian actor to play the story’s protagonist, Harry Parker, and hopes to make an announcement soon. A Kickstarter Campaign is underway to raise more funds for the shoot at:

Shayne Putzlocher of Trilight worked with Peterson on Corner Gas. Shane stated, “It’s an absolute pleasure to work with Eric. He is an amazing talent and we look forward to spending some time with him again.”

Eric, one of Canada’s premier actors, has played a wide range of memorable roles, most famous among them being Billy Bishop in Billy Bishop goes To War on the stage and on television, Lawyer Leon Robinovitch on CBC’s Street Legal, and Oscar LeRoy on CTV’s Corner Gas.

Peterson, born and raised in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, now lives in Toronto, but still frequents his cottage in Saskatchewan’s Qu’Appelle Valley. Shooting will begin in September in Loeffler’s hometown of LeRoy, Saskatchewan which, coincidentally, is the namesake of Peterson’s famous character on Corner Gas, Oscar LeRoy. Maurey Loeffler stated, “I am delighted and honoured to be working with Mr. Peterson, a fellow Saskatchewanite, on this project. Eric knows how valuable this kind of project is to a young career like mine and is being very supportive. I can’t wait to explore this character with him.”
